Shane Macgowan and Friends ‘I Put A Spell On You’ in aid of Concern Worldwide’s work in Haiti
This is Good. Nick Cave, Johnny Depp, Glen Matlock, Shane MacGowan and a bunch of artists have gotten together to cover “I Put A Spell On You” in aid of Haiti. Not only that — it’s exceptional. The kind of music that makes you involuntarily move to the beat, and the clip itself is very well-edited, avoiding the overdone visuals of most music clips and just showing really talented people rocking out.
I just pre-ordered the single. Me being a resident of Ye Olde Shithole (Brazil), of course there was no “Brazil” option for my credit card on 7digital and I had to create a ClickAndBuy account to get around the problem, but if you live in a civilized country, you’ll likely have no trouble getting the single. Although the following links have only two options, the site itself has more.
“Please pre-order the single by clicking here – http://bit.ly/bj2ieH (UK residents) or here – http://bit.ly/ahKs8l (Eire residents). Or text SPELL – all in capitals – to 78789 (UK only). The text costs £1.50.”
